Warranty Service Information

Pot Instant Company (the “IPC”) ensures the device is not defective in workmanship and material, under normal residential use, while one (1) year from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only the original purchaser and used in the US and Canada. A purchase invoices, purchase order number or other proof of date of original purchase is required before warranty service is performed. IPC’s obligation under this warranty is limited to replacement or repair, or assist in the repair at the option of the IPC. All repairs that warranty claims are made must be pre-authorized by the IPC.

This device is equipped with many safety features. Any attempt to interfere with their operation can lead to injury / serious damage and void your warranty. No warranty service will be provided to any equipment has been tampered with, unless directed by a representative of IPC.

This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage caused by careless use or abuse of the equipment, use contrary to operating instructions, does not provide reasonable maintenance and necessary, or dismantled, repaired or changed by anyone unless directed by a typical Instant Pot. This warranty does not cover units used outside the US and Canada. Moreover, the warranty does not cover damages caused by acts of God, such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornadoes. IPC is not responsible for transportation costs for warranty service.

Limitations and exclusions

The scope allowed by the current law, the responsibility of the IPC, if any, on any device or allegedly defective part will be limited to repair or replace the equipment or in part and is not exceed the purchase price of an equivalent replacement device or part. THIS WARRANTY PROVISIONS ARE YOUR SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY FOR EXCLUSIVE PRODUCT (S) UNDER THIS WARRANTY COVERAGE. ALL WARRANTIES WITH RESPECT TO THE MACHINE (S), INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY AND FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE ARE EXPRESSLY EXCLUDED BY.

IPC is not responsible or liable for indirect damage, special or consequential damages arising out of or relating to the use or performance of the device or damage to any economic loss , loss of property, loss of revenues or profits, loss of enjoyment or to use, removal costs, installation or other consequential of any nature. Some provinces / states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages. Accordingly, the above limitations may not apply to you.

You as the buyer can have the rights and other measures prescribed by state or provincial laws, which are in addition to any rights or methods that can be issued under this warranty.

This warranty was last updated on Sept. 27th, 2013 for all products sold from Jan. 1st, 2014.  If your product comes with our older version of warranty (dated September 8th, 2010), your warranty will continue to be honored.
