Why release a little steam leakage treatment?
bit processor released Instant Pot is a safety device. Like conventional pressure cooker, release the steam treatment to work simply by tapping on the pipes weight steam release. Since the contact between the handle and release the steam pipe is not completely closed, steam track can sometimes be seen in normal working conditions.
bit processor released Instant Pot has a rated pressure of 105kpa or 15.22psi. Handles release pressure steam keep working always under pressure assessment regulations.
Instant pressure sensor is at the bottom Pot under the heating element. Pressure sensors operate by measuring pressure down on it, including the weight of the food. When a small amount of food (less than 2 mark inside the pot), pressure sensors are slower than thermal shutdown. Therefore, the dynamics of heat could push up price pressures prescribed pressure, causing a small amount of leaking steam released from treatment. When heating is more momentum, the pressure will be kept in good working pressure under 105kpa (15.22psi), and only the minimum steam will come out of the handle releases steam. This is still completely safe. Please see chart illustrations of working pressure Instant Pot to understand the changes of pressure in a cooking cycle.
Normally, if the food has passed marked “3” in the pot in, there is a small amount of track just out of hand steam vapor released.
Why are slightly coming out of the float valve during startup?
When you first start pressure cooker model your IP-LUX it is normal to see “On” in the display until the pot is up to the appropriate temperature and pressure. Before working pressure achieved slightly come out you will see the float valve for perhaps 40 -70 seconds and then it will stop once the self-sealing valve float. Just then the countdown will begin on the screen. There should be very little leakage of steam after the countdown began.
You can also expect to wait 10-20 minutes once it is finished cooking to let the pressure go down, but if you’re in a hurry, you can use the handle to release steam to steam out so you can open the pot faster. Please note, this is not recommended if you are cooking food with high starch content, such as porridge, which can cause spillage.
How to depressurize Instant Pot when it ended without freeing cooking steam? And how long did the process take?
Instant Pot depressurizes dissociation by heat from the cover (in particular the metal parts). Depending on the volume of the liquid in the pot to cook, it takes 8 to 25 minutes to depressurize naturally. The more liquid content, the longer it takes. You can also place a cold, wet towel on the metal part of the pot lid to cool down. This is called the natural release of pressure cooking recipes.
quick release is released to rotate the handle slightly by hand to “vent” position to let off steam to cool quickly. quick release takes 60 ~ 90 seconds to depressurize. Please note, the quick release is not recommended if you are cooking food with high starch content, such as porridge. This can cause the food to spill out from the released steam treatment.

There Instant Pot burning food?
Short answer No, not likely. The most immediate function Pot cooking, (eg, soup, porridge, rice, meat, poultry, beans / Chili and Slow Cook) can monitor temperature to avoid burning the food. Instant Pot IP-DUO series, a warning message “ovHt” flashed on the screen.
This mechanism “write-protect” works very well, except if the food has a very high starch content.
