What Is The Philips Shaver Series 9000
Philips Shaver Series 9000 is top of the range rotary shaver, with a revolving top three blades and the option to use it wet or dry. It is available with the cleaning station SmartClean (S9031 / 26) or without (S9041 / 12). We have the second test, which is $40 cheaper.
It provides a shaver, is good for sensitive skin and mostly a pleasure to use.
DESIGN Of Philips Shaver Series 9000
There is something very chic about Philips Shaver Series 9000. The trio rounded blade looks somehow more advanced than straight leaves, although Philips has made Philishave tri-blade model since 1956. there is a little something about their War of the Worlds.
The individual blades all axes towards and away from the center of the head, while the head unipivots itself.

The state is also such that the Philips Shaver Series 9000 line with your hand immediately, and feels almost weightless – it is just 160g. That is not to say that this electric shavers feel cheap or flimsy, like its slim features mean it still feels heavy.
Sadly, the price of the great state is not integrated trimmer – which is a separate head that linked simply by pulling out of the shaving head and trimmer click. Easy enough, but if you are someone who regularly uses a trimmer, you can get upset to hunt around for the separate attachment.
While we’re on the downside, it does not charge the battery to provide – unless you pay extra for cleaning stations, of course – and the problem compounds without head protection provided. You will just have to be careful. It comes with a travel case and semi-permanent pretty good, at least.
A simple screen is hidden behind the glossy black plastic below the power button, with three simple lines to indicate the battery level, and tap an icon to indicate that you clean the head.
PERFORMANCE Of Philips Shaver Series 9000
The first thing that strikes you when you switch on the 9000 Series is the lack of noise. It’s quiet, but I think an internal gear may have been stripped. But no, it is really quiet there. It was an interesting change from anger so razor-bee normal crowd.
When the rotary shavers benefit from shaving a circular motion, it is difficult to assess Philips Shaver Series 9000 on a single pass. However, it requires minimal time and effort to achieve a very close shave, and particularly good hug more difficult places of the lower neck.
It does not offer quite super close shave of Panasonic ES-LV95, especially right under the nose, it is difficult to obtain with a rotary shaver. But it is still very close, and are kinder to sensitive skin than the Panasonic. It also requires less of a traditional shaving techniques – you do not really need to know the direction of the beard grow; you just made a circular motion around your face and let the blade do the rest of the work.
This is a model of wet and dry – in other words it waterproof – so you can choose to shave in the shower or shaving gel on. I find it most effective dry, though, and less likely to gunk up the tongue.

Cleaning head is a simple matter of running it under the tap for a few minutes. Be warned, though, that if you leave this – or any rotary shaver, for that matter – do not wash more than a few days, they became a grass to clean. It’s easy enough to turn off the first forward and get the blade out, but the circular blade is harder to use than to get a brush on more than their linear counterparts.
One battery charge lasts about 50 minutes of shaving and refill only takes an hour, which is all par for the course.
Should I buy Philips Shaver Series 9000?
If you prefer a minimum of fuss and a quiet life, this is probably your electric shavers. It is quieter than most, requires less technical, and eases very good. Extra $40 for cleaning stations SmartClean mean even less effort, and provide a stand as well.
However, if you frequently use a trimmer, exchanging the head does not introduce an element of fuss. And then there is the fact that Panasonic ES-LV95 provide a closer shave, trimmer and a useful screen for the same amount of money.
Summary
