Corded Oscillating Multi-Tool – New Porter Cable 3.0A
New Porter Cable has added a multi-engine vibrating strings new on their product line, PCE605K 3.0-amp. We consider the model 2.5A ago, and while it is a great actor, mechanisms change blades need a bit more power to operate than hand we want.
The new machine oscillating multi-tool seems like a minor upgrade to 2.5A model, but under the surface there are some very neat redesigned and upgraded.

A bump up from a 2.5-amp motor with a 3.0-amp does not mean all that much; we are more interested in functionality and new features improve.
Porter Cable said cutting their depth and provided new guidelines when performing stability control cuts and longer working when making cuts. This seems like a reasonable request, and it makes us wonder why manufacturers other versatile tool have not thought of something similar earlier.
Three overmold position seems a bit inappropriate to describe Conponents radical new holding. Judging from the product images, Porter Cable for their product management and professionals full state control to experiment and go wild with the clamp. It certainly would be a good thing from our point. A tool clamping – what could go wrong?
We could not find any mention of this, but it seems Porter Cable’s prolonged processing blade change slightly. If you recall from our practice of reviewing PC250MTK predecessor, the lever needs a little force to operate. A longer squeeze-handle on the mechanism of change edged 3.0-amp model will mean increased leverage and thus reduces the effort to use.
The overall construction of the grip looks to be a little tweaking as well. “Thumbs up” Â if it reduces the effort required for blades and accessories swap contracts.
