Red or pink… it doesn’t really matter. I seriously doubt a child is going to care. It’s more of a parent preference, I think. My son ended up with a pink castle, but it doesn’t bother him at all. He jumped right inside and started playing with it. The color didn’t matter, nor should it. It’s a great product for an awesome price. Yes, instructions would have been nice, but it really wasn’t all that hard to figure out. It’s pretty self-explanatory if you look at it for more than two seconds.
Great tent, not the same color in description
Received this tent today. It is fantastic. I ordered it for my 3 year old son. It’s lightweight, but he’s having fun with it. Set up was easy. All that being said, it is pink and grey, it is not red. My son doesn’t mind, so we are not sending it back, but it would be nice to have known the color was not anywhere near the color from the photos.

Our little 19 month old loved this!
We’ve used it outside in the backyard and in our living room during winter. Lots of hours of playtime^
We also purchased the Wonder play balls for the inside, and knights helmet and sword.
