Features and Characteristics of Invacare Lightweight Tracer EX2 Wheelchair

The Invacare lightWeight Tracer EX2 wheelchair sets new standards in the wheelchair. It combines the design and technology of the 9000 series with a clean, simple appearance. The range of arm options allows the user to select their favorite sitting style. The comfortable seat and the back of the chair make this chair extremely easy to use.

The 24″ rear wheel and 8″ wheels allow the seat to serve as an adult wheelchair and a hauling wheelchair. In case the user needs a hemi-sized chair, there may be appropriate footrest and full accessories. It can also swap components with 9000 series seats.

This Invacare lightWeight Tracer EX2 wheelchair is more environmentally-friendly. Q & A

Q: how much does it weigh ?

A: It says right in the description: 39 lbs.

Q: Would somebody mind measuring the wheel to wheel width, so I know what size doorways I can get through? This looks like a nice chair.

A: It’s about 27-28″. Our doorways are 30″ and the chair can be pushed thru without a problem so long as you’re careful. We did take the door off our master bathroom so he can get through by himself easier (there’s a vanity on the right and the door on the left and visually looks tight but really isn’t. Hope this helps you in your decision making. It’s a great travel chair and I’m thrilled it’s so easy to load into the car.

Q: Size box?

A: When I received this chair it came flat, in a relatively large box. I would say the box was about 4’x3′. The footrests came in the same shipment but a separate box.

Tracer ex2 Super Product

The Wheel chair arrived fast. Shipped in two seperate boxes made me think I had to put it together. I opened the largest box firt and it was the whole chair except for the foot rests.
in the second box was the rests.

I simply slip them on the chair and it was ready to go. The Seat for this Wheel chair is wider than a lot of them and I am glad I chose that for her. I would recommend the seller and product to anyone interested in purchasing a wheel chair.
It also folds easily and there is storage under the seat and also a zipper bag for
articles that you want keept a little more secure in it when its folded and laying down for travel.

Beat Deal Evet Purchased

This is definitely fit the mold of “to good to be true”. Until it rolled out of the box it could not believe it. I was renting it’s big brother just like it while waiting on my electric to arrive but wanted a light weight travel model to toss in the car.

Good Inexpensive Portable Wheel Chair

This chair quickly folds and unfolds, is relatively light, and seems to be well-made. I guess I am old fashioned, but it seemed ridiculous to allow a local medical supply company to charge Medicare almost $500 for a product I was able to buy on-line for around 1/3 that amount. In addition, I didn’t have to go through the hassle of getting scripts from my Mom’s doctor, going to a supply store, and then getting turned down because something was worded incorrectly. I am surprised that this nice a chair can be sold for the price I paid.
