Q:Â How wide is the path it vacuums?
A:Â The vacuum “business end” opening and beater brush measures 9 1/4″ long and 1 1/2″ wide. Max path width it vacuums must be 9 1/4″.
Q:Â anybody know the main diff between this and the Hoover Air?
A:Â Couldn’t really tell what “this” was. However, we have two Hoover Air Vacs and are very pleased with the performance. So much easier when you don’t have to mess with a cord.

Granted as has been previously mentioned the Air Cordless does not appear to have great suction to the hand however on testing it does appear to do the intended job as per claims made by the manufacturer and other reviewers. It does a fair job on the area carpets with the beater bar managing to pull up a fair amount dust having just been cleaned by a built in system a few days prior. The soft broom vac combo work great as a sweeper on the porous surface of the hand finished Oak Plank floors,(this was my main requirement),. I also tested the vacuum only suction on a 1/2 thick pile of debris (sandy dirt and pine needles)

My least favorite thing about vacuuming is dealing with the power cord and this vacuum Cleaner Air Cordless eliminates that problem. It comes with two batteries, so you have one in the vacuum cleaner and one charging at all times. It is light weight and easy to maneuver. The suction power is fine for hard floors and area rugs. I don’t know how it would hold up for a house full of carpet, because that is not what I have. The dirt container is plenty big enough for all the dog hair in my house. I have only had this for a couple of weeks, but so far, I love it and would highly recommend it.

Best vacuum I’ve ever had. I have a Dyson and a Roomba and neither can compare to this gem of a sweeper. I’ve been in a wheelchair for years, and vacuuming has always been a challenge. The cord would get tangled in the wheels, hard to manage the heavy vacuums like the Dyson. This Hoover is the best thing I could ever ask for. The battery life is good, it has good suction, gets in tight places, is not heavy, and I would highly recommend it to everyone.
