Has a Few More Perks Than Similar Massagers
As far as the massage functions in the cushion itself, it is much like many other “shiatsu” massage pillows on the market: there are rotating flat disks (about 1″ – 1.5″ in diameter) that move in a preset pattern designed to hit all your sore points. The disks (like in other models/makes) are hard, so be prepared to experience a deeper massage, but by no means a painful one. There is also a standard heat function which can be turned off if desired.
I love this pillow!
The rollers work great and if they start feeling a bit too intense you can fold the little flap over them for a bit more padding. The heat feature I don’t really notice, maybe it’s because my mind is more focused on the massage. I’ll have to try just the heat to see how it feels.
The vibration on this pillow feels nice, when used with the rollers it helps relax me enough so the rollers can do their job. Sometimes my back will get so tense that the beginning of a back massage, or even just laying down can be a bit painful until the tension leaves my back. The vibration helps relax my muscles quicker, and then by the time the pillow shuts off I am able to function again.
This turned out to be a very nice gift, I’m glad I received it! 🙂
