Festool’s upcoming drilling CSX seems to be a very attractive addition to market compact cordless drill. It features a D-handle, which is said to provide better move bulky pistol grip drill other brands, and a chuck system swap for great flexibility.
CSX weighs in at less than 2 lbs a human hair and can be equipped with a chuck Centrotec, a keyless 5/16 “chuck, chuck or convenient angles. The exercise also has two speed settings, 0- 400 and 0-1200 RPM.
Of course CSX also be paired with a 10.8V Li-ion battery powerful, capable of driving more than 200 screws on one charge. These batteries have time to fill up 45 minutes (25 minutes up to 80%), but with 2 batteries supplied in kit, there should not be any downtime.
CSX kit includes tools, 2 batteries, chargers, and 2 chucks for $ 225. A 3-chuck, chuck including right angles, will be available for $ 275. Both kits are expected to be released in early June.
