CREATE A COOL PETITE FLOATING NIGHTSTAND
Friday is here and let’s celebrate the weekend with a project that you can complete even before you update your friends social status. When I visited the set design and trend fair Formland get floating tables everywhere and go check that Pinterest is a hottie especially made with the macrame. But today it would be so simple we do a modern floating panels friendly and budget – A string table.
You will need the following: A cutting board, galvanized steel wires, straps 4 pieces (remember to select the exact size of the ferrule for wire diameter), pliers, drills and a hook.
If you want to cover your cutting boards with a surface of the skin you will need: leather, scissors, glue (VTR), a brush and a belt punch.
Guide:
Use your pincers to clip the two pieces of wire identical.
Measure and drill 4 holes in the cutting board diagonally opposite each other, as shown in the photos in the next collage.
Cut a piece of the same size as the cutting board to your skin.
Mark hole and 4-hole punch to punch your belt.
Apply with a brush VTR.
Place on cutting board skin and let it dry.
Wire pierced through 4 holes as shown in the photo.
To be able to hang the table, just pass the wire ends through ferrul and back on the other side to form the eye leaving a short dead end.

Ferrul with repeated bending of your grip until you have secured all ends.
Now you’re done, put a hook in the ceiling, and enjoy your floating table.
I was really inspirered by Martin Bo Christiansens vision ‘(mentioned in the previous article) about combining minimalist Scandinavian style with comfort and warmth. In
a line forming a frame for the table and leather adds a homey feel.
