Best Cordless Drill 18V Kit for $100?
As was written in, asking for help in choosing a ~ $ 100 cordless drill kit. Check out our best Cordless drill guide is a great start, but things get more complicated at $ 100. There are few professional choice at this price level throughout the year, but that usually change each fall as we get closer to the winter holiday shopping season.
For the sake of this discussion, we will only look at 18V drill kits. We can look at 12V drill, because there are some cordless drill 12V Max, can keep up with some of the 18V model, but it will complicate things further.
Let’s look at all the options $ 100 Wireless drilling, at least the ones I could find. Even if they are a higher price now, they can lower the price will be back in a few weeks as the holiday season is in full swing.

BOSCH Best Cordless Drill

DEWALT

DS18DGL Hitachi is the latest entry-level drill 18V strings of them, and it has earned solid reviews on Amazon uses. The DS18DSAL is better, but more expensive ($ 129 through Amazon).
This kit is $ 95 right now, and probably will at that price.
MAKITA
Last year, Makita came out with a hammer drill kits entry-level, at just $ 99. It only comes with 1 battery pack, but it’s a high capacity 3.0Ah batteries.
I like drills, drill hammers Wireless on wireless, but this does not offer the least expensive way (that I saw) to buy the Makita 18V line.
METABO
While the higher price target $ 100, 18V Compact Drill / Driver’s latest Metabo has some attractive features. It has a “chuck – 1/2” 3/8 would be better – and it is removable. Below is a drill chuck holder 1/4 “hex bit screwdriver handy.

I keep hearing about how Metabo quality of other brands blown out of the water, but I really just better to draw the favorite drill driver BS18 and chuck system.

MILWAUKEE
Milwaukee’s compact M18 2606 drill / driver is a nice go-to drill for general purpose use. Rest period, it will be sold for only $ 99 or more, but only 2606-21CT sets, which comes with a single battery. However, it is a good and inexpensive drilling into wireless M18 platform power tools and extensive Milwaukee’s great.
Just remember that the only comes with a single battery. That “Gotcha.” Only If not, here are a few kits drilling $ 100 that comes with a product line drills regularly and not a special budget or a consumerized.

PORTER CABLE
My impression on Max Porter Cable 20V line has changed over the years, as the new tool is added to the product line. But one thing remains certain – PCC600 they drill / driver is a great drill. The only complaint I have heard about this drill is about how it looks.
There are several different versions of this exercise, but I’d stay away from them. A newer model, PCC601, less powerful, slower, longer, and packed with a lower capacity battery, a charger and also slower. It is worth spending a little more about PCC600.
This kit went on sale for $ 99 in the past, but can not again, now that there are new variations of the lower prices.
RIDGIDÂ Best Cordless Drill
Never one drilling RIDGID ~ $ 99 for a time. The last time I remember seeing a 100 ~ $ RIDGID drilling was back in 2012 when I did a roundup of $ 99 and $ 100 exercises.
Update: Two $ 99 RIDGID 18V drill string just appeared on the website of the Amazon
RIDGID R86008P drill strings of an old design, but has been updated and now comes with a 2.0Ah battery pack. It is still quite strong, with 535 rating the maximum torque in-lb. This seems to be a decent set.
There is also the R860052K RIDGID cordless drill sets, which are “sold” for $ 99, from a “normal value” of $ 129. This kit comes with a different charger than most RIDGID 18V kits, and with the amount of inventory at the local Home Depot stores (13 stores each in 2, 21 in the other), but it is a dish for the holidays.
This drilling is not considered to have an LED worklight, at least no one can see me, and comes with (2) Li-ion battery pack instead of one.
Both Home Depot RIDGID not mention the appreciation of torque for this drill, and links to instructions on the product page using Home Depot is a completely different drilling. The absence of a handle aux shows this drilling weaker than other RIDGID model.
This suite has 2 battery packs, but the drilling R86008P seems to be better.
RYOBIÂ Best Cordless Drill
Ryobi has some great stuff in their squad, including Li-ion drill / driver. They do not really have anything in the $ 100 – most of the exercises or is quite a bit cheaper, or slightly more expensive.
But some time off, you can often snag a drill and impact driver like this, for $ 99.
DECIDED
Not all options are available throughout the year, and if they are, they can cost more than $ 100. I have mentioned a couple of $ 100 options those usually available all year .
As the holiday shopping season is in full swing, you have plenty of your choice. Bosch, Dewalt, Makita, Milwaukee, Hitachi, and sometimes RIDGID all have $ 100 donated.
The Bosch is a compact model and the budget that comes with 2 batteries. Dewalt is a model of consumerized (for lack of a better description) that comes with 2 batteries – but lower battery capacity than conventional cordless tools of the brand. The drill Makita is a entry-level, but it’s a hammer drill, and it comes with a higher capacity battery 1. The offering is the daily Milwaukee drill brush their motives, but it comes with 1 battery pack. Hitachi has a budget model, but I believe I saw walking their daily drill to $ 99 at times as well.
Craftsman offers a heavy duty drill at the price point of $ 110, and many fewer exercises for under $ 100. The same goes for Ryobi, but at peak holiday time Ryobi often discount the power and impact drilling their basic to $ 100.
Metabo’s cordless drill comes with a chuck 3/8″, which I usually only see with 18V DIY tool brand”, but it also features advanced system chuck their quick changes. It costs $ 149, but I think it is worth mentioning here all the same.
If all I wanted was a cordless drill / driver, I’d go for Bosch DDB181. If I want to buy into a system of new wireless power tools as well, or is wrong with having only one Li-ion battery, maybe I’d start with Milwaukee 2606-21CT kit – available when in season.
However, to be frank, you probably will not go wrong with any of the options, as long as you are fully aware of why each is priced as they are.
