PHILIPS ONEBLADE WHAT?
Not that a beard trimmer, not quite a shaver, the Power OneBlade a groomer is designed for men to wear beards and face style. According to Philips, the device was “designed specifically to fit the needs of modern man.” It can cut, edge, and shave any hair length beard exact length using one of three strategies that are included. Or, you can use it without a comb for a closer shave.
It was used later that OneBlade truly remarkable. Although Philips said the device is aimed at those who maintain facial hair, I believe OneBlade will be most appreciated by those who have long been with razor burn and ingrown hairs while using machines traditional shaving. The shave achieved with the OneBlade is very good, and because it is not as close as you’d get with a wet razor, it means that you get a clean look with less skin irritation, if at all.
So, although it’s not quite live up to its assertion that the blade will cut through any length of hair, only $$$, the only OneBlade can become regular shaver new those who want a free shave stimulation.
PHILIPS ONEBLADE – DESIGN
The colors green and blue are not making ends slickest you’ll see on a shaver this year, but it’s not too off-putting when implemented in conjunction with a well-designed shell contour.
The OneBlade is nice and slender, making a device easily manoeuvrable which makes all the difference when it comes to accurately decorated. At 324g, it is not the lightest shavers you will ever kept – the Panasonic ES-LV95 thick weighs just 200g – but it certainly does not feel heavy in the hand.
Despite gaudy green rubber on its edge then, the OneBlade actually managed to retain a certain smooth. It is the lack of a screen displaying the first digital or really close to adjust the strength of the shaver in this regard. The OneBlade has a power button and push the slider to remove the head, and a charging port on the bottom of the handle.
If you’re after a more refined shaver then there are also two versions of “Pro” within OneBlade. Both sport a black design more sophisticated. One of the shaver Pro comes with a comb adjustment precision with 10 length settings from 0.5 – 9mm, while others come with a display digital and a 14 dimensional Short term accuracy. Note that the standard OneBlade also available with a comb attachment for $39.99 extra 2mm. One of the days considered here is the model $34.99.
Although Philips said OneBlade use a combination of technology and a rotary trimmer, this is not a leaf or rotary shaver. Basically, the head using a single blade, which is a refreshing move in an industry that seems to think more blades as is the definition of innovation.
This single blade moves extremely fast – 200x per second, in fact. It is surrounded by a “dual protection system”, that is protected by a plastic shield with rounded tips to protect your skin. Quite where the part is rotated in’re still not sure, but it sure is a nice and simple designs. Also useful is the fact the head office, providing more control when solving more difficult areas of your face.
Change the head just a few seconds using the button above “push” to get rid of old ones. A sub-head is supplied with my review model; Philips recommends changing the head every four months.
In general, the well-designed OneBlade and so is a pleasure to use. The lack of extras is not necessary also is a plus; if only Philips has chosen a different color with light green along the edges of OneBlade.
PHILIPS ONEBLADE – PERFORMANCE
For many who use electric shavers, cheaper to cut facial hair will know that OneBlade will provide a better cut even before using it. On the press of the power button, which blade speeds make a satisfying hum, unlike the disappointing containers of little shaver. It became a little louder when you attach one of the trimming combs, but generally quite nice to know this little device is packed full of a punch to cut hair on your face.
Of course, as any seasoned hair sculpting will know, what matters most is how OneBlade done. Here, Philips has managed to create a lightweight, yet powerful device that can certainly cut through all the length of the hair – it is only if the hair that is even remotely thick as fur Counters my training, it will get stuck more often.

The head of the small but powerful easy job making shorter hair, and – thanks to a double-sided design – since the blade protruding from both the bottom and top edge of the head, it can be used to create a straight edge razor and from all angles. The trouble happens when you try to use it to shave fully formed.
I attached the 5mm comb to remove a few months I grew – and OneBlade simply can not handle it. Every 10 or 20 seconds the blade will stop working when the mechanisms of hair stuck.
Be warned: if you do not go slow with the latest Philips trimmer, you could end up pulling out hair blocks your face, make a pretty painful experience than the “efficient, comfortable shave on long hairs “that Philips promises. I can say that my experience, Philips’ any hair length “claims simply do not stand up.
On the plus side, OneBlade can be used both wet and dry. If you prefer to have your morning shave in the shower, or use shaving gel, OneBlade compulsory happiness. In addition, cleaning equipment is simply a matter of running it under the tap.
This device is also compact enough that it feels like you are using an older version a bit of a traditional razor. Unlike bulky electric shaver then, Philips phone is not just felt easier to use, but it will not prevent your face too much when you’re trying to edge up your sideburns or.
So, what about that razor? Well, as I mentioned earlier, it can be the best feature of OneBlade.
Since OneBlade not too tight haircut, thanks to its polymer shield, it means that you can avoid skin irritation while still achieving an impressive close shave. OneBlade regular use to cut his hair short, the blade did not catch even one time, making the experience far more pleasant than my beard-hacking challenge.
It can also shave against the hair without worrying about razors. From the OneBlade form factor is similar to a traditional razor blade, it feels easy and natural to shave against the hair, especially on your neck, rather than with a bulky electric shaver . Occasionally, I use it simply to clean the hair on my neck, and that was shaved neck fastest, closest and easiest I’ve ever had – at least not use razor TV Theung.
In my opinion, Philips will benefit greatly from making a bigger deal of how good it is achieved without razor shave.
PHILIPS ONEBLADE – BATTERY
To keep the blades moving at a fast speed so, OneBlade will run through its charge with a ridiculous speed. It requires eight hours to charge for 45 minutes just to get used. Those who use it for their morning shave can manage to squeeze five days from its use. But for anyone who uses their purpose OneBlade for trimming and styling of the face, it is capable of managing only two situations suffocate before you have to plug it in.

As a result, the battery life is a major drawback of OneBlade. The rotary shavers Philips 9000 series, for example, lasts about 50 minutes after an hour of charging, and top-of-the-range, guided by laser beard trimmer 9000 series will give you an hour of use after taking charge of one hour.
Note that you will need a shaver socket, or an adapter to turn a conventional power socket into a shaver socket, to charge the device. Charging cables supplied will then simply plug in the bottom of OneBlade and ready to go… for eight hours.
PHILIPS ONEBLADE Should I buy?
Besides the ability to trim its decent, is OneBlade can become a new you go to if you like razor shave. It’s great for sensitive skin, because it does not shave too close to the skin, and although you may have noticed the cow in a little shadow 05:00 earlier if you want to go with a traditional razor, which is a price small to pay to keep your skin to avoid irritation.
rapid movement of OneBlade tongue also means that you will achieve an even cut when using the shaver for its purposes of facial hair styling. If you often wear beards, or need a device to cut up your goatee then OneBlade is a great affordable way to keep your fluff in check. Just do not use it if you are going from beard to close the cut.
OneBlade Philips will launch in the UK on May 11, exclusively at Boots.
At $$, Philip hybrid styler is a reasonably priced shavers and adaptation that will give you decent shave and haircut, even faces. Shame about the battery life, though.
