Q & A

QHow can the strong odor be eliminated?

AI suppose it is like a new car – the “new chair” odor will disappear with time. I did not notice a strange objectionable odor. I was more concerned about the stability and functioning of the chair, which I found to be excellent.

QHow much does it weigh ?

AThe one I ordered weighed 37 lbs.

QDid anyone have to deal with a strong offensive odor from the tires? Will it leave in time?

AYES! OMG! I swear, I have had it for almost a year and it is the same still on a scortching hot day here in Florida, I still smell it. Granted it has drastically lost the smell, but it is still there on a hot hot day.

QMy husband is tall and thin: 6′ 3″ and 170 lbs — is this chair tall enough? do you have a model for a taller person?

AAlthough I bought this for my mother, I went and sat in the chair after receiving this question. I am 6’5″ and 250 lbs and I fit comfortably in the chair. But I don’t imagine it would remain comfortable if I had to sit in it all day every day. It is not a high back, so my shoulder blades were above the back. So I guess it depends on how you plan to use the chair. If for short time transport for someone, you should be fine. If sitting in it all day every day, then maybe not. Great chair for the price, by the way.

Desk-length Arms Elevating Footrests

I broke my leg and was looking at nearly two months on crutches. After the first week I was frustrated at all the things I couldn’t do because I needed both hands for the crutches, plus I was sore all over and my broken leg would swell from dangling down. T

his simply was NOT going to work for a month and a half! So I checked the cost of renting a small wheelchair but the price of renting would have been at least as much as buying this chair. I did shop around and look at numerous chairs from numerous places, comparing all the features and prices along with reviews for the chair AND the store. Of course I know Amazon is totally trustworthy so that was a good start, and I chose this particular chair because of the elevating Footrests along with the full sized rear wheels.

I can now keep my broken leg elevated to reduce swelling and discomfort, and am able to wheel myself around with very little effort.

Fantastic quality and value

Desk-length Arms Elevating Footrests

After doing extensive ‘wheelchair’ research when I decided to purchase my mother-in-law her own wheelchair, I decided on this one because of the features and the price. I wanted very good quality as well as elevating Footrests since my M-I-L deals with swelling in her ankles/feet. I placed my order last Thursday and the chair was delivered today – only two business days later!

The chair is practically ready to use right out of the shipping carton. I only had to add the handles used to push the wheelchair and the elevating Footrests which are great! The chair is definitely a higher quality than the one supplied by the nursing home where my mother-in-law is currently having physical therapy for her recently broken hip.

I’m still amazed at the incredibly low price and blown away by the speedy service! If this chair has the features and size you’re looking for, go for it! You definitely won’t be disappointed.

Self transport heavy duty folding wheelchair with Footrests. Excellent and just what I wanted at a very reasonable price. Nothing like it on the market at this reasonable price.

Footrests in may of 2015 and this thing worked great. Its leg rest work well

Desk-length Arms Elevating Footrests

7/14/16- I broke my Foot in may of 2015 and this thing worked great. Its leg rest work well, they are easy to get off and on for easy transport. It does have a smell that would not go away it’s almost a liquid smoke smell. It still has that slight smell after a year but my nephew is using it now, his leg is really messed up.
